We are an active club, this is some of what we do:

offer interesting and varied monthly programs with presentations and speakers with expertise in their field

operate a fully equipped lapidary shop for use by members

publish "The Nugget," an informative and educational monthly bulletin

sponsor the popular Fiesta of Gems, Rock and Mineral Show each summer - free of charge to everyone

organize field trips to local collecting areas

donate rock, mineral and fossil specimen kits to local schools

maintain an extensive free library of books, magazines and video tapes for our members

enjoy picnics and holiday parties for the members

SHOP REPAIRS BEGUN

Joint repairs on the Shop and Boy Scout buildings has begun. A locked, gated, chain link fences have been installed, across the front and rear of the property. 

On the days the shop is open, the "Shop Instructor" will unlock, and open both gates for member access.  During this time, only the "Shop Instructor" will be able to park in the back of the building.  All other members should park in the lot in front of the "Scout Hut", and enter the property through the ftont gate.
