Mineral-Rock-Gem clubs offer an opportunity to create unique and interesting photographs.
When you are opening the beauty inside the rocks, a well trained photographic eye
will isolate features, color combinations, texture, and designs for that one-of-a-kind photographic creation.   
Similarly, rockhounding will take you to remote, pristine natural places of immense beauty, that
you can record for your memories and pleasure of others. CCR&MC is fortunate to have members with a special talent for this craft.
Periodically, the club has lectures/slide shows on photography and techniques.
