Our club, for over fifty years, has promoted education, knowledge and skills development in the earth
sciences and lapidary arts.Our interests include mineralogy,
cutting, polishing, casting, metalsmithing, and field collecting
for rocks, minerals, and fossils.
We are the only affiliated CFMS club, with these wide range of activities, in the Los Angeles, Culver City and Santa Monica areas. |
| Membership ranges between 120 to 150 people, teachers, engineers, photographers, IT professionals, jewelry makers etc. Some members are crazy about rocks, other love to make jewelry.
